Adding 2 Factor to bitwarden

1. You are able to add One Time Passcodes to Bitwarden

To do this usually there is an option to use Google Authenticator

2. Then you will see a QR code and sometimes a token/key is provided that can be used instead

Open Bitwarden

3. Select the login you wish to add it too

4. Click Edit

5. Now here you have 2 options

  1. Hope that bitwarden can automatically scan the QR Code
  2. Copy the token/key for the OTP

In this case we are using the QR code.


Now here you have 2 options

6. Click save

Click save

7. Copy the 2 Factor code

Typically after the QR Code a new screen/message will ask for the code youu just copied to verify the QR code/Token/key worked.
